报告摘要⭕️：

Common risks in a supply chain include delivery and quality problem of product and services.  It is hard to manage because it is difficult to quantify unlikely direct cost.  This presentation introduces an approach by using quality tools to analyze the risk and to ensure supply chain meeting the customer requirement.  Supply management professional then can use this knowledge to develop plans to reduce the negative impact that supply chain may have on their operation.  An easy to understand visual guide will show the list of the common quality tools that can be used at different stage of product life.

Kaiwen Cheng is the Manager of Total Quality and Planning for Deere and Company, World Wide Agriculture Division in Moline, IL. He is responsible for supporting division quality activities. Kaiwen spends about than 80% of his time with units in China to support the overall quality improvement in China market.  Deere and Company, commonly known by its brand name John Deere, is a fortune 500 company with almost 170 years history, approx 46,000 employees with operations in 17 countries and doing business in 160 countries.

Kaiwen holds a Master degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor degree in Physics. He has work experiences in the field of industrial engineering, manufacturing, quality as well as supply management. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt certified by ASQ and is a member of IIE for 11 years. He is also member of ASQ and SME.
